Setup

You’ve seen setups that became IT projects. This is not that.

Three steps. Two tools you already have. Every action you need to take is described on this page, in order, with the time it takes. There are no hidden steps. No "contact us to continue." No consultant required for standard setups.

Connect your 3CX.
One email address. That's the whole step.

Go to your 3CX admin panel. Invite the CallCore agent as a user — that's a single email address added to one screen. From that moment, CallCore handles everything automatically.

You don't configure anything. You don't map anything. CallCore authenticates itself, reads your user list, syncs their profile photos, and starts ingesting your call history. The analytics dashboard you land on shows call data arriving in real time as it backfills.

  • 📍 Action from you: 3CX admin → Users → Invite user. Enter the CallCore agent email. Click invite.
  • Time this takes: Your part is about 60 seconds — CallCore is live 15 seconds after the invite lands.
  • 👤 Who needs to do it: Anyone with 3CX admin access. Does not require IT involvement.

What CallCore does automatically after the invite

  • Authenticates with your 3CX system
  • Provisions your CallCore workspace
  • Syncs all 3CX users including names and profile photos
  • Begins pulling call history from your 3CX system
  • Two months of history backfills in approximately 30 seconds
  • Analytics dashboard updates in real time as data arrives

Connect Salesforce.
OAuth, one click, everything configures itself.

Install the CallCore managed package into your Salesforce org. Create a dedicated integration user. Assign the CallCore permission set to that user. Click Connect in the CallCore console. A standard Salesforce OAuth screen appears. Grant access — and sync is live. There's no Enable switch: as soon as you drop handlers into your Transcribe & Sync team, their calls start flowing into Salesforce.

If the permissions are correctly in place, everything configures automatically. There is no field mapping screen. There is no configuration file.

  • 📦 Install package: Standard Salesforce package install — same as any AppExchange product.
  • 👤 Create integration user: Standard admin task. One user, one permission set assignment.
  • 🔗 Click Connect in CallCore: Standard Salesforce OAuth screen — grant access, return to console. Sync is live immediately.
  • Drag handlers into the Transcribe & Sync team: The last action — their calls sync from that moment on. No Enable switch, no waiting.

Drag, drop, save. Your team is live.

Open Lightning App Builder for the record pages where you want the Communication Timeline. Find the CallCore Communication Timeline component in the component list. Drag it onto the page layout. Save.

Add it to Contacts, Accounts, and Opportunities on day one. Come back and add it to custom objects whenever you're ready — the timeline works on any record type without additional configuration for standard setups.

  • 📋 Salesforce → Setup → App Builder: Open the record page for the object you want to add it to.
  • 🖱 Find CallCore Communication Timeline in the components list and drag it onto the layout.
  • 💾 Save and activate the page. Your team sees the timeline on their next Salesforce load.

This preview is fully interactive — it looks and behaves just like the real component will on your Salesforce records.

      After setup

From the moment a handler joins your Transcribe & Sync team, here is what happens automatically — forever.

      Every call syncs

Inbound, outbound, missed — every call your synced handlers make or take lands in Salesforce shortly after it ends. No action from your team. No scheduled imports. No exceptions.

      Recordings are playable

Click play on any recording directly in Salesforce. Available immediately after the call ends — even before transcription completes. No external login needed.

      Transcripts follow

The transcript and AI summary appear automatically. No page refresh. No manual trigger. It just appears.

      History is permanent

Every call from this moment forward is captured. Historical calls that backfilled on setup stay in Salesforce. Nothing is lost unless you ask us to remove it.

Setup was genuinely about fifteen minutes. I kept waiting for the catch and there wasn't one.
